Do you need a Letter of Good Standing issued by the Department of Labour?

We will get your Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund for you.

You need this to be eligible for large contracts and government tenders.

A letter of good standing will be issued if your COIDA payments are up to date.

PLEASE NOTE:

Pre-Requisites: To receive a Letter of Good Standing, your Company needs to be registered with the Compensation Fund and your Returns of Earnings must be submitted and paid for in full. We can assist with both these services – please contact your consultant for more details if you still need it. The Timeframe for this service only starts once both of them have been 100% completed.

Commissioner Costs. This Service does NOT include the Returns of Earnings at the Compensation Commissioner. Additional costs will occur. Thus, we’ll advise you keep projections very conservative.

Direct Payment. Note that when submitting your Returns of Earnings, the Compensation Commissioner will send you a Notice of Assessment by which they will charge you directly for outstanding fees payable to the Commissioner.

Renewals in April each year: ALL Companies who has a letter of good standing at the Compensation Fund, need to renew it before 30 April annually – this date is unrelated to the date on which you applied for your first Letter. You may have requested a letter in March and by the end of April you’ll have to renew it again.
